49 to go

Landmark day yesterday. I had, thte previous day, flown out to Salisbury, Maryland to drop off the owner of the planes for a business meeting. Yesterday I went to pick him up, but had some time to spare, so I made it out to Accomack, VA (KMFV). That means that I have now landed at every paved, public airport in Virginia. One state down, 49 to go.

Finally, some pictures

The photos from our trip have finally changed hands. I'll start posting the narrative as soon as I can. First things first though, I'm heading to thte Cayman Islands this weekend, leaving late tonight. Unfortunately, this will be aboard a commercial flight. I would rather fly the Symphony, and interestingly, I could get there just as fast or faster, if I did. But the cost is a little bit prohibitive that way.

So for now, I'll post just a few photos, and next week I'll start the story of our adventure.

The first photo here is from Crater Lake, Oregon. The second, on final approach at South Lake Tahoe, California. And the third is from Marble Canyon, Arizona.

With that, I'll sign off until next week, and be back after my little Caribbean vacation.
